    Trash & Recycling

    Household trash is collected twice weekly. Recycling is collected once a week. Please ensure all receptacles are placed at the curb by 7:00 AM on collection days and stored out of sight by evening.

    Utilities

    Water and sewer services are included in your monthly maintenance fee. Electricity and internet/cable are set up individually by residents.

    Mail & Packages

    Centralized mailboxes are located near the main office. For large packages, carriers will typically deliver directly to your home or leave a key in your mailbox for the parcel lockers.

    Please put items scheduled for pickup out the night prior, as the maintenance team starts pickup at 7:15 a.m.

    Trash Pick Up Schedule

    Tuesday and Friday starting at 7:15 a.m.

    • Trash/Garbage: Must be in plastic bags, tied appropriately and put in a trash can, preferably a 32-gallon garbage can.
    • Trash cans should not exceed 40 lbs.

    Important Guidelines

    • There will be no more heavy construction pick up. This includes dressers, couches, full size mattresses and larger, chairs, etc. If you have any questions on what can be picked up, please contact the office.

    • If you have a handyman or contractor do the work, you and the contractor will be responsible for taking the trash.

    • If you need large items picked up, we have contacted our scrap metal guy and he will be more than happy to help you out, for a fee. He just requests a two-day notice, so he can bring the proper manpower. His name is John Rhodes 941-725-9047.

    • Televisions, computers and all tires are unable to be picked up. Please take it to 3333 Lena Road, Bradenton, FL 34211.

    Yard Waste

    Wednesday morning starting at 7:15 a.m.

    Must be in a sturdy PAPER bag, tied securely, or put loosely in a garbage can.

    • • Bundles cannot contain branches larger than six (6) inches in diameter.
    • • If bundles exceed six inches, they need to be cut down.
    • • Bundles four (4) feet in length should be tied with heavy duty string.
    • • Bundles should not exceed 40 lbs.

    THE LANDFILL WILL NOT ACCEPT YARD WASTE IN PLASTIC BAGS STARTING 10-1-25.

    Recycling - Summer Schedule

    Wednesday following yard waste pickup

    • • Includes the following: plastic, glass, and tin cans.
    • • Please rinse out all bottles, jugs or cans to help avoid vermin.
    • • All newspapers should be bagged or tied.

    Reminder: Don't forget to save your aluminum cans for the men's club! They will pick them up the first Monday of every month.

    Important Shelter Information

    Please be aware that Terra Siesta Co-Op does not have an emergency shelter within our community. If ordered to seek shelter, you must travel outside of our community. We have also added a link for our residents to be able to enter their address and it will assist you in locating the nearest emergency shelter.
